What an atmosphere for this first theme evening (AC/DC)!! ...Thanks to Fanny and Stéphane for their welcome, their humor, their customers (I met some really nice people)...everything is good...just like on the plate and in the glass...can't wait for the next one October 4th!

A great discovery since the takeover by the new owners. Warm and attentive welcome, simple, sincere and generous cuisine. Flavors of fresh produce. Among other things, I loved the chocolate mousse. The Place, we come with pleasure and we leave with a smile.

Restaurant taken over very recently! From the cuisine to the service, everything is there, quality food and drinks at very affordable prices, pleasant and warm service. In short, go there with your eyes closed!

A nice surprise! The new owners have really brought this restaurant back to life. The welcome is warm and the service impeccable. The dishes are delicious, well presented and prepared with fresh ingredients. We feel that everything is done with passion. The atmosphere is friendly and you immediately feel at ease. A very nice discovery, I highly recommend!

The change of owners changes everything. Fanny and Stéphane are super welcoming. They have a lot of new things to show us. THE PLACE is a nice and very friendly place. To discover or rediscover.

I had the opportunity to have lunch there during business trips. Good value for money, traditional cuisine and fast service. If in the area again, I would happily return.

13/09/2024: The meat is excellent and the service very pleasant and professional.
03/09/2024: We had a great time at L’Étale d’Edgard. The service was superb, with an attentive and friendly team. However, when it came to the matured meat dishes, although the price suggested exceptional quality, I was slightly disappointed. The meat was okay, but I was expecting something truly remarkable for this price point. Overall a good experience, but maybe the meat isn't entirely worth the cost.

27/08/2024: The meal was very good! We had a blast. Bravo to the cook who delivers! But the service wasn't great... It was a bit complicated when it came time to pay. They registered on the holiday vouchers site but don’t take them. Too bad, I came to use them ^^’
25/08/2024: On vacation in Rennes, you can't go to Rennes without eating a good crepe, it's Brittany. Unfortunately the crepe restaurants were full, I came across by chance, in a small restaurant, Call the bone and the edge, At 21, rue des Saint-Georges in Rennes, Served, excellent, a lovely personal welcome, everything is cooked over a wood fire, To recommend.
