Chez Lim sur Compiegne

A tiny Vietnamese restaurant located in Compiègne. The pho is authentic and very good (served in the southern style), and besides this classic and the bun bo, the restaurant offers other dishes that change depending on the day of the week. The service is discreet but pleasant, and the chef is very friendly (we chatted a bit about Vietnam, a country I've had the pleasure of visiting several times). For those interested, they serve Vietnamese beer (only Saigon, though).

It's truly excellent; I've never had any problems while I've been there, the service is impeccable. The only slight drawback is a few minor glitches with the ordering process: sometimes my order wasn't ready on time, or I received the wrong dish (beef instead of chicken for a friend during a recent group order). There are numerous and delicious vegan/vegetarian options. Generous portions.

We stopped there on the advice of Chat GPT 😅 indeed this restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but the limited menu with homemade dishes made us want to push the door. No regrets it was very good and plentiful despite a bit of a wait. The managers are very pleasant 🙂 I highly recommend

Top-notch Vietnamese cuisine, ultra-fresh and generous, my daughter and I really enjoyed it. Lots of flavors in the classic Vietnamese dishes, tasty and crispy new ones prepared to order, fabulous gyoza, in short, highly recommended if you're looking for a good Asian restaurant (for its food and good for its rather ordinary decor). Top!

The best Asian restaurant in Compiègne. And I've tried many restaurants, but this one offers fresh and excellent dishes. The cook is very welcoming.

A sure bet if you want to eat at a good, homemade Asian restaurant. The establishment is very small and sparsely decorated, but that's not why we come here; the kitchen is entirely prepared by a little lady with nimble fingers. Each dish is made fresh as ordered, so everything is super fresh, and it shows on the plate, which is always full of flavor! Be careful, the portions are generous, so don't bite off more than you can chew. Overall, I recommend this establishment.
