Impeccable welcome and service, excellent Basque cuisine and specialties, with a small downside on the octopus salad that is too spicy - and a chocolate mousse that is too ordinary. Very disappointing dessert menu: chocolate mousse, floating island and Italian affogato, given the quality and originality of the starters and dishes. Ideal cooking of fish and side dishes.
Black point, that evening (3/1/2025), excessively noisy room due to howlers whose shamelessness prevented us from fully enjoying our evening.

I really wanted to test the little Basque grill in its 2024 version. I admit to being a little disappointed. Even if the products are of high quality and the cooking is perfect, it lacks a little something extra to justify the price.

Good products, flavors and sauces, nice bistronomic menu. Good food, that's for sure... but the room!! You shouldn't exaggerate though! The plate... catastrophic dressing, and very traditional in the approach. In short, for €85 per person, the right plate is not enough. So too expensive, especially out of season in St Jean.
