I like going there for a good coffee in the afternoon, but it's a shame they don't have any fruit tarts for teatime; I have a flute of bread instead because the slices of cake are too rich.

25/02/2026: This place reminded me of a classic American diner, but with a French twist. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I ordered the confit de canard with pommes de terre sautées and salad. It was my first time trying duck, and it satisfied a craving I didn’t even know I had. The fat was beautifully rendered, the skin perfectly crisp, and everything was seasoned just right. The potatoes were cooked to perfection. We also ordered the Croque Madame, steak haché frites, and escargots. Everyone at the table was genuinely happy with their meals.

La Belote

17/03/2026: I highly recommend it!! A very good little dish served piping hot. They are very welcoming. I will be back.
25/02/2026: I discovered the place when I went to vote at the Consulate. I searched on Google and decided on "La Belote." It was full, but since it was almost closing time, there were tables available. I loved the cod, the dessert, and I'd been missing a good coffee. The waitress is a sweetheart, always available.
