Comme Chai Toi - Notre Dame sur Paris

A magical night in Paris. Fantastic service and food. For English speakers, they described the whole menu ( which changes often) in English. They had a custom cocktail (rum aged in an oak barrel with pepper spices, etc) that was amazing and even my wife loved it. After cocktails, they asked us questions to pick a wine for my wife and I… and kept letting us taste wine until we had a perfect match. Each course was perfect! The main entrees (the plate!) Wes delicious, but a small portion. The price was up there, but again a magical night!

Excellent from start to finish. Outstanding in every dish. It has been a success. Pleasant and particularly attentive staff. Highly recommended.

Incredible attention to detail by Fabien. He walked us through every item on the menu with patience and extremely knowledgeable in both menu items and also wine. What a Fantastic experience, amazing flavors, great wine pairings for every dish and also a beautiful view of the Notre-Dame. Thank you for such a beautiful experience and wonderful meal.

I would have liked to give it 4.5. We will start with the very positive: yes to the setting (when Notre Dame has regained its splendor, the view could not be more Parisian). Yes to the service with two extremely friendly, smiling waiters who offer you several choices of wine or digestives and give you a taste, in short who embodies the definition of service in an exemplary manner. Yes to the approach, organic, locavore, seasonal.... We are in the era of the times. And finally of course yes to the food because everything is good here! But it is this last point on which I would put a slight caveat. The dishes are indeed very good but not of the complexity or with products that deserve to be 35/36€. It's a bit expensive in my opinion. Which is less true for starters or desserts. When we see that in any neighborhood brasserie you will pay €9 for your frozen profiteroles, pay €15 for a “Tellement bon” which lives up to its name... There is nothing strange. In conclusion, apart from a small price downside (in my opinion) it is an address that is really worth it.

Impeccable atmosphere, cuisine, service with breathtaking location! We will come back, this home cooking was excellent!

A small restaurant on the banks of the Seine. Nothing exceptional, and yet we immediately enter another world through the friendliness of the welcome. Then discovery of the map. Not a lot of choice, but that doesn't stop you from hesitating for a long time. Because the specialty here is to mix tastes: mustard leeks, cocoa cod, pea and onion soup, lemon cookie with chocolate mousse. Then an excellent wine list with ample explanations. Attention full quickly. As a bonus, a view of Notre Dame.

Small but nice restaurant, very good quality food. Friendly staff, but at the time of closing (we hadn't finished eating/drinking yet) we had to hurry to finish everything... (they hadn't warned us that they were about to close) We were not specifically told to leave, but at a certain point the staff already had their jackets on, ready to leave, the lights of almost all of them were off etc... consequently we could do nothing but leave everything and go out.

The concept for selecting wine is nice. The dishes are quality and the atmosphere of the restaurant is great!

Great place to eat next to Notre Damme.

I loved ! The cuisine is excellent, made with local products, when possible, and seasonal. We trusted Baptiste for the food and wine pairings and were delighted. The view of Notre Dame de Paris is an added bonus. I highly recommend !
