While passing through Bastia, we ate burgers, potatoes, cheddar fries, and Nutella tiramisu! Everything was perfect! Very good…simple and satisfying!!!

The burger joint was our last hope!! Although our hotel has a restaurant, our dog wasn't welcome! We found this lovely joint by chance and were very surprised! Very friendly owner and staff...above-average burgers...very, very tasty 😋 Saved our last evening in Corsica

What a burger 🤩. Absolutely sensational🤤 Never eaten anything like it. Definitely a must-try. The ambiance is rather rustic, but feels cozy. Small but nice. Super friendly and helpful owner and staff. We'll be back before we leave. 👍🏻

My wife and I dined at this little restaurant last night and were truly satisfied. The welcome was discreet yet warm and impeccable, despite the difficulties of those of us who don't speak French, but the kindness of the staff resolves any situation. The best thing, however, is the quality of the burgers, which are truly excellent, nothing like the large multinational chains we're used to in Italy. Highly recommended.

A top-notch, super location, quality welcome. The kids loved it, and so did the adults. The Corsican burger was to die for. My 10-year-old son had a huge bacon burger, and he didn't leave a crumb. An address to remember. And a top-notch family effort. Thank you for this last evening on the island before returning.

06/07/2025: Top notch burgers and toasted sandwiches that are extremely good value. The service was very attentive and friendly. You can sit down outside in the square. If you want good value food definitely come here.

22/09/2024: Having left the GR20, want to eat real Corsican dishes, this is the right place. The dishes are delicious, the atmosphere is great, the waiter and the owner are great. In short, I highly recommend this restaurant.... The Alsatians
14/09/2024: “U Paisanu, in the heart of Bastia, is a true immersion in Corsican authenticity. Located on the 1st floor of the grocery store, the restaurant offers a warm and typical room. We had the pleasure of tasting several Corsican specialties (the whole menu 😂) everything was so tempting 🤤. The Bastiaise-style anchovies were excellent, and the ghjialadicciu was an incredible discovery. All served by a young man who was both friendly and very attentive. Before leaving, we exchanged a few anecdotes with Francis, the boss, a simple and authentic man who perfectly embodies the spirit of this place. A memorable and gourmet experience, which we recommend without hesitation!”
