We came in the mid-afternoon for afternoon tea. The welcome was unfriendly, and we felt like we were bothering them. The order taking and service reflected the poor reception. The sweet cider wasn't very good. The crêpes, however, were perfect, which somewhat made up for the rest. Note that they only accept credit cards for purchases over €19... and they don't give change for holiday vouchers.

We had a very good meal, from the welcome to the food. The dry cider is excellent and the savory and sweet crepes are exquisite.

We had dinner there as a couple one evening. The waiter was very friendly and we received a warm welcome. Unfortunately, we would like to draw your attention to the extra charges. The green salad was priced at 2 euros, which was more like 2 euros per leaf. We were also disappointed by the chocolate crepe, where the amount of chocolate didn't even reach a spoonful.

19/02/2026: A very friendly and personalized welcome. It doesn't feel like a tourist trap. The quality-price ratio and portion sizes were perfectly acceptable. I'd love to go back on my next trip to Cauterets. Reservations recommended.

28/02/2026: An unusual restaurant. The black pork was truly delicious, but the service needs improvement. They weren't friendly at all. Our water bottle's bucket tipped over because it was a flimsy plastic bucket, and no one helped us mop it up. We practically had to beg for napkins. They forgot our daughter's cordial but not the final bill. This restaurant is typical of Cauterets: not pleasant.
26/02/2026: Excellent modern twists on traditional dishes. Very friendly staff and fast service.
