Crêperie l'Abreuvoir sur Le Bugue

I'm revising my review because the experience during the tourist season is nothing like the off-season... 1: A discovery for us locals, who are disheartened by some local restaurants. The food is well-prepared, generous, and very good value for money. Almost like a bistro. There's a lot of care put into the dishes served. For locals who are tired of foie gras and other duck breasts, or ready-made meals from Metro, the menu offers some great options like Thai-style tuna, a sublime perfect egg, and fish! For duck lovers in all its forms, you'll be well catered for as well. A pleasant spot, with a terrace and air conditioning, 2: We returned in August with guests from our gîte, certain we would treat them… Total disappointment, and a bad image for our 5-star gîte: the portions were much smaller (half-portions), the presentation of the dishes was appalling, the service was catastrophic… no menu, no bread… mistakes with the drink orders, the staff were running around like crazy 🙈 We waited 20 minutes for a table even though we had a reservation, and above all, a huge disappointment with the dishes served, which had switched to "tourist" mode: same price but nothing on the plate! Nothing like what we had eaten before. A big disappointment then… for us and our guests! A good restaurant should be good all year round…. Another restaurant in Le Bugue and Les Eyzies that will be blacklisted…

Absolutely delighted! Everything was delicious and piping hot. Very good, very refined, generous portions without any fuss, and the plates were hot. And the staff were very efficient and very friendly. We were here two years ago. We'll be back! We want to try the roasted Camembert, grilled beef, and Sarladaise potatoes. Thank you to the team! Excellent food made with quality regional products, friendly staff

A lovely terrace shaded by trees; the restaurant is a bit hidden on a narrow street, but the food served is excellent. Comparatively speaking, it's inexpensive for the dishes available. In short, we'll definitely be back when we return to Le Bugue.

Good gourmet cuisine, pleasant staff.

A fantastic restaurant, tucked away in a small alley, but definitely not to be missed! The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The servers are incredibly friendly; they went above and beyond to find us a table even though the restaurant was packed, all with energy and good humor. The food was delicious, made with fresh, local ingredients—thanks to the chefs as well.

Everything is perfect, from the welcome to the food. A must-visit. Reservations recommended.

This restaurant is magnificent. We were able to discover local cuisine from the very first day; their foie gras is exceptional. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The walnut wine is also excellent. The person we call "Uncle" is also wonderful and gave us a warm welcome. We highly recommend it. Thank you to all the staff.

Great restaurant, the food is delicious, I would definitely come back if I pass through Le Bugue again.
