Excellent food and a lovely terrace. The servers were professional but forgot our order. It was very quiet, which made for a pleasant atmosphere.

We cycled into Le Bugue from Les Ezyies looking for a lunch spot, came across Le Pha, wow, great spot, terrace overlooking the river, rustic charm, order the perigourdian salad, swans swimming past with cygnets. Everything was amazing, service Great, highly recommend.

We followed the online reviews and we're so glad we did. The setting, the quality of the food, and the generous portions were all excellent. The staff were incredibly friendly too. The view from the terrace is simply stunning; right on the river, you can only hear the sound of the water. And to top it all off, a pair of swans with their cygnets had just arrived. We'll definitely be back before the end of our vacation. A huge thank you to everyone for everything!

Unreserved outdoor table for 4. First impression of the outdoor location is nice. Right on the Vezère. All outdoor tables were well occupied. Service by only one employee. Feeling a bit sorry for her. No social communication with her customers. Neither upon arrival nor upon our departure. 4x menu with dessert and a lovely cool bottle of crisp white wine. Food adequate, but nothing special. Affordable. Waited a long time for our dessert order to be taken. Had a pleasant evening. Tip: social communication with the customer could receive more attention.

01/07/2026: A real find for us locals, who were feeling down about the surrounding restaurants and the closure of the Restaurant de Campagne. The food is well-prepared, generous, and very good value for money. Almost like a bistro. There's a lot of care put into the dishes served. For locals who are tired of foie gras and other duck breasts, or ready-made meals from Metro, the menu offers some lovely options like Thai-style tuna, a sublime perfect egg, and fish! For duck lovers in all its forms, you'll be well catered for as well. For dessert, opt for the homemade ones rather than the Manouvrier ice cream served in all the local restaurants in the Dordogne and southern Corrèze, which is completely uninteresting. A so-called artisanal ice cream parlor 🙈 A pleasant place, with a terrace and air-conditioned dining room, away from road noise. We will recommend it to the guests of our New Forest House gîte.
30/06/2026: A great place to try homemade Périgord specialties at very affordable prices! We ate in the shade of a linden tree, very pleasant.
