11/08/2026: A single, terrible experience. Avoid at all costs! A friend of mine joined me there after work. Curious to try it out, we decided to have a drink. I let my friend choose a table. I went to the bar alone. I waited a few minutes that felt like hours while a regular was talking loudly with what seemed to be the owner. The owner then told the man in French that he would take care of the "gentleman." I ordered two pints of lager, which weren't exactly great. When I ordered, the owner's expression changed. In Arabic, he called the man he had been talking to earlier. To summarize, he pointed openly at me and explained that he would put the coffee the man had ordered but couldn't pay for on my "white guy's" bill. The man's face lit up. The prices weren't visible, or at least not clearly enough for me to see them. Once the two pints were served, the owner handed them to me and told me the bill: €17.00. Which is actually outrageously expensive, even in Paris. The man and the owner then moved closer to me. Some of the other patrons looked at me. Feeling uncomfortable with the situation, I preferred to pay without trying to negotiate. When I collected my drinks, the man greeted me in a rather grotesque and theatrical way, repeatedly saying "thank you sir, thank you sir." This irritated the owner, who began to berate him severely. The man opened the door for me, and I left quickly. My friend and I were able to finish our pints outside, at a table, under the owner's watchful eye. Embarrassed, we left as soon as we'd finished drinking. Ultimately, even though I don't speak Arabic and understand it with difficulty, the owner and the individual in question weren't trying to hide their intentions. A few days later, I discussed it with my colleagues at work, who told me a similar story. They had paid significantly more for their pints than the average customer. It seems this establishment charges differently depending on who you are. A very bad experience; avoid it.

08/05/2026: Zero. Neither the staff nor your service is okay. You don't have the right to refuse to let me pay for a pack of cigarettes costing €13.50 by credit card and demand cash instead.
