I went back for afternoon tea: New Orleans-style ice cream sundae, apple turnovers, and a prize of a slice of clafoutis from the Gourmet Wheel, plus a large coffee. Very good, and we played a board game. Perfect.

03/08/2026: A weekend near Saumur with friends, we discovered this little restaurant opposite the Dampierre motorhome area. Its service is original: the customer gets up to collect their own food and clears their own table. The pike-perch we ate was delicious. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but a lovely place for those who appreciate simplicity and a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Thank you!
30/07/2026: A casual, open-air restaurant with live music. There are no waiters, so you have to get up to order, collect your food from the counter, and clear your own table. The concept is fun and the food is very good ☺️
