Lunch on a Sunday. The restaurant wasn't very busy, but unfortunately, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed in their organization and management. It was difficult to get enough bread on the table, the service was a little slow, and they forgot the sauces for the dishes (quickly rectified). There's a lack of management and responsiveness in the service. However, the staff are very kind and pleasant; they do their best while maintaining a smile. Overall, we ate well and had a nice time as a family. There's a dedicated children's area, which is very nice, and a special menu for them. [Hiring more staff would certainly improve things].

Avoid this place at all costs! The service is appalling. They promise air conditioning, but in the end, there is none, even though we requested it before booking because we had a 90-year-old in our party. The service was a complete disaster: no bread, the steak was disgusting, and the price was exorbitant. They sell you two ice cream scoops when there's only one. The chef could really use a change of clothes; he's not very customer-friendly. Father's Day was ruined. Never again!

We really enjoyed the restaurant. The children loved it (coloring and guessing games). In addition, the meals were generous and tasty. The staff were welcoming and attentive to customers. Nothing to add. We had a very good time.

L'Amuse Bouche

03/08/2026: A weekend near Saumur with friends, we discovered this little restaurant opposite the Dampierre motorhome area. Its service is original: the customer gets up to collect their own food and clears their own table. The pike-perch we ate was delicious. It's not a gourmet restaurant, but a lovely place for those who appreciate simplicity and a relaxed, informal atmosphere. Thank you!
30/07/2026: A casual, open-air restaurant with live music. There are no waiters, so you have to get up to order, collect your food from the counter, and clear your own table. The concept is fun and the food is very good ☺️
