The hotel staff are very friendly and provide all the necessary information to ensure a pleasant stay. The Nordic spa with its view of the castle is simply magical! The restaurant is extremely good! The only slight drawback is the peeling paint in the room; it's starting to show its age, but we slept very well :)

One-night stay with a friend, booked a week in advance. We arrived around 4 pm to drop off our luggage. The hotel normally has a relaxation area with a sauna and hammam for an extra charge, which was one of the main reasons I chose this establishment. Once there, we wanted to use this area, but unfortunately, we learned it was undergoing maintenance: the spa was empty, and access to the sauna and hammam was impossible. It's a bit of a shame not to inform guests beforehand. Camille, the receptionist, was lovely and explained that she had only been informed that very morning. We certainly didn't know. The next morning, we had breakfast around 9 am. The view from the terrace is very pleasant, but an employee was cleaning it with a pressure washer, with all the noise that entails, even though breakfast service ended at 10 am. This could have been done later. However, on Friday evening we enjoyed the meal served on-site: everything was delicious, the service impeccable, with entertainment and two superb singers. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Despite these minor hiccups, we had a pleasant stay.

After almost two weeks in the studio, it was great, the food and the reception staff were always smiling, I think I'll go back on my next trip to Saumur

This hotel is well located: close to the activities Saumur has to offer, yet peaceful. Magnificent view of the town and its castle. The welcome was impeccable and pleasant. A true focus on customer service. The room we booked was perfect. The decor could use a refresh, as the gray, black, and red tones lack vibrancy. The breakfast is very generous and complete. The homemade pudding is amazing!

Super spacious room with plenty of room to move around, even with a crib. Great view of Saumur Castle from the terrace! Very welcoming receptionist and a very good breakfast! Thank you ☺️
