Excellent food 🤩 It's a shame the comfort and welcome weren't there.

A warm welcome and delicious food. Be warned, the portions are generous.

Paris, July 13th, 2026, a sweltering evening. The heat is unbearable. It's 8 PM, and there's no shade to be found. The crowd is pressing towards Les Invalides; in fact, the fireworks display has been moved up a day. The metro is packed; there's already no room left. You have to go past the gates of the National Assembly to discover this place. You don't expect it; it's not large. Yet there it is, entrenched in its certainties. We could say so much, but we'll just focus on the dishes. One or two dishes: stuffed cabbage and vol-au-vent. A small version of the vol-au-vent—there's a large one. Even a little more extravagant than the small one. A soft and silky vol-au-vent, its main ingredient being sweetbreads. Since it's served individually, it should have been called Bouché à la Reine, but no matter, we're past that point. And then, less mocking, it presents itself to you with its taste of the land, its taste of the earth. The little stuffed cabbage is right in front of you. And you enter another dimension. You're going to rediscover stuffed cabbage, perhaps like me, in the shade under a blazing sun. And if you've bitten off more than you can chew, it's not a big deal; the very attentive staff will bring you a small box with the leftover choux pastry. This stuffed cabbage has personality; it truly deserves its little nickname. Chouchou, I love you! And let's not even talk about the desserts you're rediscovering in the photos; I have an exclusive love for chouchou.

A magnificent French café, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, delicious and generous dishes, in an idyllic setting in Paris. It was an excellent experience.

It was very hot that day, and the map is more of a winter map; otherwise, it's generally good. I'd like to try it again in a different context. Thanks.

Well balanced flavour for the dishes I ordered. The pork fat is interestingly balanced with the clam without either being over-powering. However, it is a slightly too salty. But the veal is a must have, You just cannot forget the umami-rich flavour once you finished. The wine is a simple yet pleasant complement to the dishes, adding a flare of French authentiticy. Four star because there are very perceptible sand in the clam, despite the waiteress claiming that they were all washed carefully before.

This is a truly wonderful spot in Paris! A high-end bistro atmosphere with a lovely terrace. Traditional cuisine just the way we like it, expertly prepared with fresh ingredients; the Vol au Vent is divine! For the wine, we let Roxanne guide us—she's very attentive and incredibly knowledgeable! Take a look at the wine list: some real gems, but don't tell everyone or there won't be any left for us next time 😉 A fantastic time with friends, thank you and well done!

Fabulous dinner at Cafe des Ministeres! Managed to get a reservation off the waitlist the evening before. We started with the foie gras, and shared the cabbage meatball and a vol-au-vent. The cabbage was unreal - the dab of crème fraiche was perfect on top. Perfect texture and rich. Loved the sweetbreads in the vol-au-vent and the sauce was so rich and beautiful. What a treat! The portions are quite large and my friend and I unfortunately did not have enough room to finish which I felt poorly about- which also meant no room for dessert although the flan looked delightful. We saw a man who ordered the flan, lick his plate! The service was incredibly kind, patient, and generous. Our servers were very busy (including bussing food from the kitchen across the street to the outdoor dining area) but were extremely warm. Would highly highly recommend! Next time I would like to try the anchovy salad (unsure of dish’s exact name) that the man sitting next to me had ordered.
