A pleasant surprise at this charming little village hotel. Very clean and cozy. The room was spacious and comfortable, although the bed was a bit firm for us. The bar and restaurant were pleasant and offered generous portions. Breakfast was a bit disappointing with very limited choices.

On December 29th, we decided to have a meal and were very satisfied with our meal for only €18.50. We highly recommend it to other diners. We plan to return to this restaurant in Confolens on our next visit.

09/09/2026: Were told this was a decent place for lunch so hoping we were unlucky when we went. Food was basic and coffee almost cold. The service and surroundings were both pleasant though and its a pleasant place to go for a beer

01/09/2026: Fantastic. A complete lunch on the terrace (starter, main course, cheese, dessert) for under €20. The quality is excellent. The staff is very pleasant. What more could you ask for? If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely return.
