This charming pub is ideally located with a view of Cassel. The dining room boasts original décor with numerous antique objects on display. The welcome is warm, and the local cuisine (carbonnade, fries) is hearty and excellent. There's a wide selection of local beers, including the pub's own brew, which is particularly good. You can also purchase local products in the room adjoining the dining room. Free parking is available 200 meters away.

An idyllic setting! Why go to the French Riviera when you have Cassel right next door?
Up there, the food is great,
It's a real treat, but you still wish there was any draft beer,
The atmosphere and service are top-notch.
And the bill keeps you grounded.

We ate lunch there as a group. The welcome was warm and the atmosphere was friendly. Unfortunately, I ordered the carbonnade, and the meat was extremely tough and full of gristle, served with fries that were even too small for an 8-year-old. It's a shame this lack of generosity in the portions somewhat detracts from the friendliness of the staff and the magnificent view.

We went to the restaurant to celebrate a baptism. We weren't from the area and were able to discover some wonderful specialties. The decor is pretty. We ate really well. The servers are great. We loved it.

Hotel on the rise. The food at this hotel is truly superb. The organization and language could be improved. They only speak French, which would be better if they also spoke English, which would reduce the number of mistakes.

This authentic tavern on the heights of Cassel offers a magnificent view and excellent Flemish cuisine. The icing on the cake is that it is run by young people who have no doubts and know how to maintain the spirit and atmosphere that are so special in a tavern worthy of the name.

We had lunch at this tavern. The decor is diverse and very welcoming.
The welcome and service are excellent.
The appetizer platter is generous. The main courses and desserts are very good, including sorbets with original flavors (roses, violets).
I highly recommend this establishment.
