Super lieu avec cadre magnifique et une vue superbe depuis la terasse. Plats régionaux simple et efficace, fait maison copieux, et bon choix de bière. Vraiment très bien.

Friendly brasserie in Cassel, with a small store selling local products. Small nice terrace sheltered from the sun and from prying eyes. Beautiful view of my surroundings

Very nice view, good welcome. Very disappointed by the flamiche which is made like a quiche. The soup lacked consistency. Good poppy lemonade. Possibility of buying local products downstairs. Parking next to the mill or on the square below.

13/09/2024: Superb discovery! A timeless tavern, with a decor that smells like a flea market. Very warm welcome, where we are given the choice to take our time. The plates are excellent and very generous... Thank you for this good time.
11/09/2024: Excellent time spent in this restaurant located on the main square of Cassel The owner, although overwhelmed this Sunday afternoon, welcomed us very warmly and installed us quickly and efficiently. The decor of the “old-fashioned” restaurant is very pleasant and the atmosphere is very family-friendly and good-natured. A terrace is accessible in good weather with a nice panorama The waiter and waitress present that day showed an excellent welcome, but also efficiency without being pushy The menu reflects typical estaminet cuisine. Lard with herbs was a good rediscovery 😁 The stew was excellent as well as the home fries. However, I was surprised not to find any Welsh on this map 😉 Last good surprise, the prices are not exaggerated I will come back with pleasure 👍

22/08/2024: Family lunch during the week. Very warm welcome, we feel good. Top children's menu with homemade minced steak and a very generous portion. Typical Flanders dishes (homemade potj, carbonnades, croquettes, etc.) at the top. The chef goes into the room to greet customers and collect opinions. I recommend. Good choice of beers and draft beers in particular (the triple Lefort…um) THANKS ! 🙏🏼
17/06/2024: We booked for two this Monday, when we arrived we were saved a place in the sun <3 a smiling welcome offering us the dish of the day! Duck breast 🦆killer! Go there with your eyes closed!
