This is the sixth time I've taken friends to eat at the Gelat farm, ideally located between the medieval village of Besse, Lake Pavin and the ski slopes of Suoer Besse. I'm taking the time this time to leave a review because we've always eaten well there. The truffade is excellent and other Auvergne specialties. We love the warmth that emanates from this place, the service is impeccable with great attention, the smile, we feel in a family setting and it's good to be among friends around a good table. Small moments of sharing that we must know how to appreciate in a disjointed world. We will definitely come back because stopping at the Gelat farm after a visit to Besse and a short digestive hike to Lake Pavin is absolutely a real pleasure. There are simple things that you have to know how to take the time to savor.
