Florence Kahn Bakery and Delicatessen sur Paris

This place was so good! Lovely Jewish deli located in les marais. The big latkes were so yummy and the beigel/pletzl were really delicious and nicely presented… definitely recommend this must visit destination.

Bought a pistachio babka. Not bad, a little dry, and expensive.

I've been coming faithfully from the Paris suburbs for several years now. The pastrami. The turkey. The breads. The pastries. The absolutely unbeatable sandwich. 12 euros... but it's a meal in itself!!! The welcome is absolutely charming (which isn't the case for the place next door a few meters away). In short. I've been there... I'm going there. And I'll go back.

Excellent sandwich, very generous portion served by very friendly staff. The fig pavé is a real treat. Great place, worth remembering.

We only tried the big bretzel pastrami sandwich, and it was delicious. The staff were kind and smiley. We will be back to try other items.

Florence Kahn is a little gem. Amazing Jewish and Eastern European food—the pastrami sandwich is unreal, and the cheesecake is absolutely worth saving room for. Such a pity we only discovered it on our last night in Paris, but at least we have a very good reason to come back.

Florence Kahn is a wonderful place with friendly, welcoming service and truly amazing hospitality. The staff are kind, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The food is incredibly delicious, full of authentic flavors and great quality. Their sandwich is especially impressive — rich in taste with excellent, tender meat. It is beautifully prepared with great attention to detail. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and makes you feel comfortable right away. The portions are generous, and the sandwich size is perfect even for someone who is very hungry.

Amazing and authentic bakery with some specialties that will soften even the toughest of hearts. Highly recommend!

Meilleure pâtisserie juive de Paris.

It was my Yiddish-speaking grandmother who first took me there when I was very young. Now I'm a grandfather. The products are very good, though the prices are a bit high, but oh well... This place should be considered a heritage site to be preserved; it's much more than just a bakery and pastry shop, it's a space and time, a piece of culture and history, a living memory to be passed down from generation to generation. Without wanting to broach a sensitive subject in the middle of a delicatessen, my pride in being Jewish, rooted in the difficult history of our people, now rests on three pillars: humor, the pastrami sandwich, and also an unwavering humanism! My family's history has taught me tolerance, respect for all human beings, whoever they may be, in their dignity, and with whom I can share our songs, our delicious breads with fried onions, cumin, or poppy seeds, poppy seed strudel, pickled cucumbers, braided bread, and so on. And today, alas, my heart aches and feels betrayed; I no longer wear my kippah in the street out of shame, not fear... But to conclude without Ashkenazi tears and without overly provocative Jewish humor (we Ashkenazim tolerated the arrival of Sephardim quite well, didn't we? ;-), I read a sacrilegious comment that compared the pastrami sandwich bread to McDonald's, saying it was big and soggy. My blood boiled; I strongly disagree! It's delicious, creamy with its delicate little seeds and fried onion flavor. This commenter is certainly respectable, but their comment isn't kosher!!! zay gezunt!
