I didn't try the fries, but the ice cream was excellent. The value for money is outstanding.

A pleasant chip shop in its category, located on the Bergues town square. Friendly welcome and service, lovely terrace. The burger buns are homemade and delicious, being soft and light. The fries aren't greasy. The "Chti" burger is tasty. A very good family lunch. Chip shop mission accomplished.

Of course, you have to try the famous meatballs (they look like sausages) with fries. They're an absolute classic from the movie "Welcome to the Sticks." The whole atmosphere is just like in the film. The Belfois fountain is only a few meters away. Every 15 minutes, a melody plays. Naturally, you have to go up there for seven euros. The square by the chip shop is nicely paved and there are fountains. Of course, we also visited the old post office and the spot where Dany Boon Kad Mirad used to pee in the water. All of this is included in the price of the meal, and of course, a wonderfully cold Ch'ti beer to go with it.

The ambiance in this lovely square is perfect for dining. The service is warm, attentive, and very friendly; you feel right at home. The food is good, but not outstanding, in my opinion. The beer, however, is excellent. Very reasonable and fair prices.

Yesterday at 6:30 PM on the outdoor terrace, we ordered two hamburgers, one American-style sandwich, three beers, and two ice cream sundaes. The result was impeccable. The waiter was super pleasant, calm, and attentive. The setting was great, and the food, for fried food, was very, very good. The quantity was perfect, the taste was impeccable, the meat was great, the bread was great, the Maroilles sauce was great (just a suggestion for a better quality mayonnaise), and the digestion was perfect. The price was more than reasonable (although charging for a small carafe of water to drink with the ice cream was a bit much, especially after a full meal, but hey, if you're going to charge for a pitcher of water, that's your conscience, not mine). We only stopped for a quick bite in the afternoon, but we received a very warm welcome from the owner who spoke passionately about her city and described the various places to visit. I highly recommend this establishment.

Very disappointed with the American restaurant. The fricadelle was really not very good. We complained about it all afternoon... Otherwise, the service was good and fast. The fries were good too. Fresh bread!

On April 16, 2026, to treat our children, we wanted to eat at "Momo's" (get the reference?). It's a tradition, and after chatting with a lovely lady, we knew we were in the right place. The welcome was fantastic, the explanations were perfect, and the meal was absolutely delicious! Thank you to everyone from the North! Everything was PERFECT!
