Friterie des Flandres sur Bergues

Tasty fries and meals. Prompt and friendly service despite a packed terrace and a massive number of takeaway customers.

An unforgettable moment, I highly recommend it, excellent 👌 Plus, a friendly chat with the founder of the chip shop

The welcome was lovely, however, we ordered potjevleesch, which didn't have much meat and lots of fries, and chicken with Maroilles cheese, which was very good, again with not much chicken and lots of fries.

We just got some waffles to go, which were excellent and fluffy. Kudos to the cooks for their cheerfulness, the quality of the food, and the fast service!

Without a doubt the best chip shop in Bergues, lots of choice and above all, very good.

A truly unique spot not to be missed, right next to the belfry. Thanks so much, you guys from the North, you're awesome! 👍👍👍 Sorry, no more stars 🤣🤣🤣

On our way to the post office, we stopped at this chip shop to try a fricadelle. What can I say? A wonderful discovery! The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is beautiful, with the post office on the right and the carillon on the left, creating a very pleasant setting. As for the food, the fries and the fricadelle were excellent. The prices are quite reasonable. Whether you're a fan of the films "Welcome to the Sticks" or simply curious to discover a local specialty, I highly recommend this chip shop.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic place! Welcome & Service: Warm, friendly, and quick, even during peak hours. Food: Golden and crispy fries, generous portions, and quality ingredients. A must-try that I highly recommend!

A superb welcome, an excellent meal! We chose regional dishes, which we hadn't tried before, and we loved them! We were even able to watch the solar eclipse of August 12, 2026, thanks to an employee who spontaneously came over to lend us a pair of glasses! We didn't feel like just customers, but rather like friends! What a delicious meal and such kindness from the staff at this chip shop! We don't regret coming at all! A huge thank you for everything! We will definitely be back!

Excellent value for money! The food is absolutely delicious. The Flemish carbonnade was divine! We were thrilled! Kisses from the Somme! (Abbeville)
