A very nice setting, a typical estaminet (traditional Flemish pub). The only thing we could regret was that the dishes weren't brought out at the same time. Some people had almost finished their meals while others were just receiving theirs. We will return.

A very good restaurant with old-fashioned decor (old chairs and tables, vintage posters, and various antique objects). Delicious regional specialties in ideal portions for big eaters (no worries for those with smaller appetites, you can take home a doggy bag!).

An authentic pub, friendly service, generous portions—everything you could wish for in this kind of establishment 🥰 The Flemish-style rabbit was delicious and perfectly sweet, the Welsh rarebit wasn't greasy at all, but on the contrary, very well-balanced! All this with a nice cold beer—the ideal meal 🌞 Try it, try it again, and again 🤤

A great place to try Flemish cuisine. The portions are generous, and the Flemish atmosphere is definitely there. The service is very good. Perhaps one complaint about the fries. By far the worst we had during our trip... But then again, we didn't come for fries 😏 The waterzooi, Welsh rarebit, and carbonnade were excellent.

We dined at Bruegel for a party of 12, and the setting is truly lovely and authentic. We particularly enjoyed the Maroilles cheese croquettes and the Welsh rarebit. We found the children's portion a little small (our child was 9). There was a bit of a wait before our starters and between courses (we arrived at 12:20 pm and left at 2:45 pm). However, it wasn't too bothersome and was understandable given the large number of diners.

28/06/2026: A very pleasant time for us and our dog; dogs are clearly welcome and appreciated there. The food was good and plentiful, with generous portions and quick service. We thoroughly enjoyed this relaxing experience.
