The service was excellent, the food was superb, and the ingredients were fresh, local, and seasonal! The flavor combinations were wonderful, not a single negative point!

A warm welcome, amazing and very aromatic cuisine, a passionate and engaging chef who is very generous in sharing his culinary knowledge. He listens carefully to his customers' preferences and gave us his precious time to show us his herb garden.
The menu was the Easter menu at €50.

One of the best restaurants on the Basque Coast!
Chef Claude Calvet welcomes us to his small, friendly restaurant and its exceptional shaded terrace in Guéthary.
We came for Easter lunch.
Everything was perfect; the quality of the amuse-bouches, starters, main courses, desserts, and the welcome was sensational.
The price is very reasonable for food of such high quality.
Thank you very much, Mr. Claude.

A restaurant that doesn't need stars to shine. I'd give it 5 stars anyway.
I came to celebrate my birthday; everything was perfect from the aperitif to the dessert! One of the rare restaurants where I loved everything from beginning to end!!
A wonderful welcome. The waiter was very friendly; he wasn't just there to carry plates, he knew his job very well. It's nice to deal with a real waiter and not just a plate carrier!
In this kind of restaurant, you expect to leave still a little hungry, you expect small portions, but not at all! The plates are generous, hearty, and well-filled! Quality, quantity, beautifully presented. Absolutely nothing to complain about!!
The homemade elderflower kir was excellent, as were the little amuse-bouches.
I'm very picky about foie gras, and the foie gras served here is in my top 3! Excellent! We tried almost every dish, we hesitated to order the perfect egg, but in the end we did, and it would have been a mistake not to try it!
We will definitely be back!
Thank you so much for joining us for this wonderful evening. The owner is very friendly, approachable, and down-to-earth. You can tell he loves his work and is passionate about it!

Set menu and à la carte. I've been several times and I love it. Delicious dishes made with seasonal ingredients and fantastic presentation. The food is well-served and even explained by the chef himself.

Very disappointed.
I hadn't been back to this restaurant for two years and I was very disappointed by the quality of the food, which was inversely proportional to the price increase.
The starter was perfectly fine, but that's to be expected at €17.
As for the main course, the fish was far too overcooked (unforgivable). I struggled to finish it. The prices are starting to get high for such inconsistent quality. What a shame…
