The owners and staff are very welcoming at Bergerie de E Capanelle. Excellent plate of charcuterie, excellent evening meal like breakfast during my visit on September 7 from Vizzanova. An unmissable place when crossing Corsica on the GR 20 which offers many solutions for spending the night outdoors, as well as indoors at the gîte. Reservation outside PNRC.👈 Once again, thank you for your welcome.👍

Good pizza. Kitchen opens at 12 and not a minute before. There is an abandoned, vandalised refuge up above the gite but there is no one there the gîte seems to have completely replaced it.

From father to son… without forgetting mama A chance to book in this establishment where the welcome and hospitality are there! The places are clean and well equipped The grocery store has a variety of choices at reasonable prices. We eat very well there, including wood-fired pizzas 🤗 A big thank you to the MAURIZI family and more precisely she belongs to Régine and her son Roger-Marie

On the GR20 route. The hosts are adorable and welcoming, the meal delicious, the rooms and bathrooms clean and the showers hot.

Wide choice of catering, hot showers and several bivouac locations in the forest on the other side of the river. Even if I didn't use it, it's still the only gîte on the GR20 that has a TV in the dining room

Nothing special to say except that the sheepfold does the job, dormitory correct, shower and toilet very good. The only downside is the quality of the meals. I advise you to take the pizzas which looked very good.

Recent showers and toilets. It's clean, bright and warm (following the shower cubicle for hot water). Warm welcome, small grocery store available. We slept in bivouac with our tent. Wake up to a cow right next to our tent.

Very well managed and very clean refuge with restaurant open until 9.45pm. It opens at 7.30 in the morning during the summer. It also has a market (for those trekking on the gr20 circuit).

Pause glace et boisson fraîche après l'ascension du Monte Renoso. Le gîte fait étape du GR20 donc il y a toujours du monde et on croise des randonneurs sur la terrasse pour échanger.

22/09/2024: It seems very unreal. to find such a gem in a half-abandoned mountain village: traditional French dishes are prepared here by hand using fresh products - all very simple, you could say. But everything is perfect: the doneness of the ice cream, the aroma of the salad dressing, the fresh bread, the crispy beignets... and all of this with friendly service and very fair prices. A real culinary highlight, the detour is worth it.
