04/08/2026: I have no idea why I had to drive so far, but apart from the rat in the street that had come out of the kitchen and the dog that killed it, there's not much to say about the food. The lasagna, in particular, was a no-go. The €40 set menu was decent value for money. The desserts were really delicious and well-made. Unfortunately, the promised cheese cubes never arrived… The veal tripe (hopefully not rat tripe) was tasty. The service was attentive, but there was no Wi-Fi, so we couldn't use the translation service, and no lemon for the drinks… Stay in the village by the beach and don't bother with this arduous journey…

29/07/2026: We went there one evening in July. You need to know where it is because you don't just stumble upon it; it's tucked away in a valley! The restaurant wasn't very busy. The set menu was €40. Expensive, but extremely generous portions! We ate very well; everything was delicious. Perfect.

09/07/2026: Like the other reviewers, I have nothing but praise for this place and especially for the people who work there. A place where you eat well, receive a warm welcome, and enjoy a good sense of humor. The perfect stop for hikers, or in our case, cyclists on the GT20, because the portions are not only excellent but also very generous! Highly recommended!

06/08/2026: A true gem in the heart of the Corsican mountains! 😍 We had an absolutely exceptional time at Auberge A Vecchia Mina. The setting is simply magnificent, authentic, and peaceful; we just didn't want to leave. The welcome is just like the place itself: warm, genuine, and familial. The whole team is lovely, always smiling, and the owner deserves a special mention; his kindness and good humor made the experience even more enjoyable. And then… the food! 🤤 A festival of Corsican flavors. The migliaccioli are absolutely divine, the brocciu and mint omelet is simply incredible, and everything we tasted exuded quality, homemade quality, and a love for local products. It's the kind of place you dream of keeping secret… but it deserves to be known by everyone. If you're passing through Ghisoni, don't even hesitate: stop at Auberge A Vecchia Mina. You'll leave with a happy stomach, a full heart, and only one desire… to return! Thank you for this wonderful experience; we will be back with immense pleasure. ❤️
