Great service, we felt right at home. Excellent service, clean bathroom.
The dishes are made with local ingredients and the desserts are homemade. There's also a children's menu. We were treated wonderfully.
We made the reservation the same day; it's recommended during peak season.
07/08/2026: A quick stop at this charming restaurant. Delicious traditional cuisine in an authentic village atmosphere. Lovely owner and waitresses. Highly recommended!

For several years we have been coming to dine at this friendly restaurant where we find generous and delicious food. The must-try leek fritters and the excellent homemade charcuterie are a real treat for the taste buds. Everything is good and plentiful. We come with family and friends, and they love it.

06/08/2026: A true gem in the heart of the Corsican mountains! 😍
We had an absolutely exceptional time at Auberge A Vecchia Mina. The setting is simply magnificent, authentic, and peaceful; we just didn't want to leave.
The welcome is just like the place itself: warm, genuine, and familial. The whole team is lovely, always smiling, and the owner deserves a special mention; his kindness and good humor made the experience even more enjoyable.
And then… the food! 🤤 A festival of Corsican flavors. The migliaccioli are absolutely divine, the brocciu and mint omelet is simply incredible, and everything we tasted exuded quality, homemade quality, and a love for local products.
It's the kind of place you dream of keeping secret… but it deserves to be known by everyone. If you're passing through Ghisoni, don't even hesitate: stop at Auberge A Vecchia Mina. You'll leave with a happy stomach, a full heart, and only one desire… to return!

24/08/2026: Very good on the GR20. Good facilities but a somewhat neutral welcome. Pizza available 😉... at least during peak season. Arrive early as it gets very busy.
02/08/2026: A private gîte (hostel) on the GR20 (Capannelle stage).
We received a warm welcome and were shown to our tent. We slept well despite the tent zipper being broken.
The place is clean, both the dormitories and the showers (warm to hot water).
There's a washhouse and a drinking fountain next to the reception area.
The half-board option is good, but we preferred the pizzas (not very generously topped, but comforting).
There's a spacious terrace where it's nice to meet up with other hikers from the day!
Breakfast is standard (bread, butter, and jam).
The grocery store is also very well-stocked. You can find plenty of food for less than the half-board option 😉.
⚠️ There's a small cabin with two fires, but no colanders!
