Hotel-restaurant Campanile sur Saumur

Good location Clean room (beware of the shower tile grout, which is starting to turn black) comfortable bed Reception staff were barely friendly, and working in a down jacket and sneakers seems inappropriate. Varied breakfast, but restocking is slow, and leaving yogurt and milk in a corner, not chilled, doesn't look very professional. Thanks to the kitchen staff who noticed. The sound and thermal insulation of the rooms from the outside needs to be addressed as soon as possible, as daylight shines through the entire door frame, and we can hear conversations outside. Convenient parking space right next to the rooms, perhaps a little too close, as the sidewalks are then impassable.

Basic but sufficient for a one or two-night stay. I prefer the upstairs rooms to the downstairs ones with the icy tiles 😅 The reception wasn't very friendly...

The room and bathroom were very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. Don't change a thing, you're perfect!

We came for dinner last night even though we didn't have a room at the hotel. We received a warm welcome and the food was excellent.

The hotel is undergoing renovations, and there's a problem with the hot water; it struggles to reach the rooms and the flow rate is quite low. However, the staff is excellent.

Clean room, great location for us travelling to Spain

Clean and pleasant room. Warm welcome. The only negative point was the very poor soundproofing.

Very, very quiet location 😌 Beautiful view of the castle 😍 The room was decent but a bit lacking in storage space 😢 The menu offers a wide selection of dishes and they are excellent 😋😋 (the vegetable soup is a treat 😋👌🏼).

Clean room despite a few cobwebs and average bed linen However, the meals were very good.

We came for a weekend and will gladly return. Clean and functional room. Large bathroom, very well appointed, with a 👍 for the integrated heater. Very friendly and responsive welcome. Thank you 🙂
