Excellent! The welcome, the atmosphere, the simple cuisine—it's all perfect. The service is pleasant with a touch of humor, which is a nice touch. Very good value for money. I recommend it.

The staff is fantastic, incredibly welcoming and attentive. The food is excellent, the setting is very pleasant, and even outside, smoking is prohibited, which is a nice bonus. Thank you for a lovely time.

Hearty and delicious dishes. Very high-quality, typical Basque cuisine. If you want to try local dishes, this restaurant offers them. The prices are reasonable. The waiter(s) are friendly, polite, and professional. I highly recommend it.

A great find in Ascain! A very varied menu and two set menus to choose from, including a Basque menu. An unusual setting reminiscent of wild nature, with artificial turf on the floor. We enjoyed a generous fish platter in a 90s-2000s musical atmosphere. However, the bill was a bit steep.

The setting is unique and the atmosphere relaxed. The food is very good and the service impeccable; the servers are very professional and knowledgeable about the products. We had the opportunity to go two evenings in a row; it's a shame there wasn't a third.

The restaurant staff are very quick and kind even when the restaurant is full. The garden is a gorgeous tropical vibe with tropical plants and I well covered in the rain. The quality of food was really nice and was a good atmosphere. It was slightly expensive but was well worth it with the great quality of food. It is also open when all the other restaurants around were closed too! Really thoroughly recommend here .

A top-notch chef and delicious parsleyed baby squid!

This restaurant was the highlight of my holiday in the Basque Country! In this sweltering heat, having a restaurant in a shaded garden was pure bliss. The service was provided by smiling, friendly staff. I chose the €21 set menu with Basque pâté, flank steak with Béarnaise sauce and fries, and to finish, Basque cherry cake. All the dishes were generously portioned and of exceptional quality! Everything was fresh, and you could taste the difference. Everything was delicious, right down to the Basque cherry cake made by the pastry chef who received the award for best Basque cake! And once you taste it, you immediately understand why. For €21, we had a veritable feast, whereas that's normally just the price of a meat or fish dish. It was definitely my favorite find of my holiday, with incredible value for money.

We ordered several takeaway dishes, all of which were delicious and very generous! The service and welcome were incredible, allowing us to taste and fully enjoy all the dishes. The chef even lent us the wok he had cooked in to keep his creations fresh – a real treat!
