There were two of us that day, and we had a wonderful time. We're from the area, so we know a little about the traditions of our good old cider houses. The rib-eye steak was excellent, perfectly cooked, the charcuterie very good, and the welcome was pleasant. And since it seems we need to mention it: sagardoa, Basque cider, is something you either love or hate. Tastes are subjective. But when you come to the Basque Country on holiday and walk into a traditional cider house, the least you can do is perhaps learn a little about what a sagardotegi is and the traditions that go with it. Basque cider isn't Breton cider, and that's precisely the point! 😄 It's drier, more rustic, with its own characteristics and, above all, a real story behind it. You might not like it, no problem. But criticizing a Basque cider house for serving Basque cider is rather odd. The same goes for the ribeye steak: in this kind of establishment, prime cuts are meant to be shared. The bone is part of the meat, and that's hardly a surprise when you order a ribeye. So, to tourists visiting our region: enjoy yourselves, discover our products and traditions. And if you're unfamiliar with them, do some research before your vacation. 😉 As for us, we have no complaints: we'll gladly return. 🌶️🥩🍏

One of those rare places you never forget! Delicious food, a wide selection of excellent ciders, a warm welcome, outstanding service, a pleasant atmosphere, and the icing on the cake: children treated like royalty! A lovely family evening and memories to last a lifetime!

A very pleasant family outing with an exceptionally kind waitress, a rare find these days. Good food and an atmosphere we loved. We came as a group of 5 adults and 4 children, and everyone was delighted.

We really liked the experience at this cider house. The place is big, spacious, renovated, and all in all it creates a good feeling. The theme is long shared tables to encourage interaction between the different diners. And they do an interactive show with the barrels, to explain and try different ciders. They shout txot's and whoever wants gets up to refill their glass by pouring. The meats, especially steaks, are very good, and the rest of the proposals too. In general, the experience has been very positive.

A very pleasant place in every way; everything was excellent. A major advantage compared to other cider houses is that you can choose your menu. There are three set menus, but you can also order à la carte. Nothing is imposed.

We discovered this cider house quite by chance and we weren't disappointed. Everything is great: the staff, the welcome, the food, but there's a guy who often shouts "choche" and it kind of ruins the atmosphere (just kidding). Actually, no, the atmosphere is genuine. I recommend it.

We came as a family to this cider house, which we knew well and hadn't visited in a while. The atmosphere is always pleasant and the dining room is welcoming. The cider is good. I found the menu a bit pricey. It's quite an expense to come as a family of five. But only slightly more than the competition in this segment of the cider market. Prices are rising everywhere. Nevertheless, a high price should guarantee quality, and we were a little disappointed. The duck breast was slightly overcooked, the service was a bit overwhelmed—I received my dish five minutes after everyone else, my salad never arrived, and I had to ask for fries that had been forgotten. Furthermore, the fries were actually potato wedges. That's a no-go! 😊 I wouldn't discourage anyone from going, but I do have some reservations.
