Hotel & Restaurant les Caudalies sur Arbois

I'll only review the restaurant since I didn't stay overnight...we opted for the signature menu with Jura wine pairings, a gem from start to finish, both the food and the wines. Bravo to the Meilleur Ouvrier de France sommelier and the entire team! A truly delightful experience. If I wanted to be picky, I'd say there's limited parking on the premises and the garden could be a bit more inviting towards the river. Otherwise, it's a delight for the taste buds. Bravo again!

A very warm welcome, aperitifs served on the lovely terrace, exceptional menus paired with perfectly matched wines, impeccable service, and very friendly and attentive waitresses and waiters. The cheese trolley was a real treat. We highly recommend this restaurant.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to this establishment for an experience that deeply moved us. It's one of the most honest and refined dining experiences one can find today. They offer well-executed gourmet and traditional cuisine. What impressed us most, however, was the service, which was incredibly warm and attentive. Everything was perfectly paced and elegant, worthy of the finest establishments. The dining room features beautifully set tables with ample space. It's a lovely room with a view of the garden and the surrounding landscape. Then there's the sommelier, Mr. Troussard, a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (Best Craftsman of France), who truly adds a touch of magic to this experience for all wine enthusiasts. Ask him for advice and take the time to listen to the expertise and precision he brings, always delivered with great kindness towards his guests. In short, it's a unique experience. The ambiance of a Michelin-starred restaurant with a warm and intimate welcome. Thank you to the whole team for your warm welcome last night, and we hope to see you again very soon. Passing through this place by chance, we discovered a true gem of French gastronomy (and I mean it). Everything was perfect, from the quality of the food to the professionalism of the staff. They are passionate about their craft, their region, their dishes and wines, and they know how to draw you in and share their passions. I have rarely seen such enthusiasm for a profession and such a desire to share their passions and love for excellent products. Definitely worth a visit; don't hesitate to make a detour to Arbois and Les Caudalies.

We spent a family weekend at the hotel and had dinner there. It was wonderful: The hotel: very comfortable, very professional and friendly staff. The breakfast was truly excellent. Dinner: Signature Menu with wine pairing... the photos speak for themselves. The Chef and her team delighted us. The service was truly excellent, and the sommelier team was amazing!!! We tasted delicious wines 😋. A special mention for the cheese service: an impressive trolley served by a passionate individual who gave us excellent advice on the wines the sommelier had selected for us. I ate there for the first time today. I tried my best to speak French, and the staff listened very patiently to my poor grammar. The food was delicious, and the staff was very attentive. I especially appreciated the staff's thoughtful approach in serving me a non-alcoholic course and recommending a very tasty non-alcoholic drink. Most non-alcoholic drinks are far too sweet, but this one was perfect! I highly recommend this restaurant!
