A lovely overnight stay on my birthday. Friendly and welcoming staff. The courtyard-facing room was very quiet, and the breakfast buffet was good. Great restaurant. Thank you for the thoughtful touch with dessert!

Close to the historic center, on a large square where noise is effectively muffled by double glazing, and with parking and electric vehicle charging stations, the Hotel Restaurant Le Boeuf Rouge is an excellent choice. Our room was superb, with very comfortable bedding (a very wide bed), a well-designed shower, a separate toilet, hardwood floors, and lovely decor. The food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was generous and varied. I would have liked tea other than Lipton, and whole-wheat bread. But the pain au chocolat (yes, I'm from the Southwest) was delicious. Thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome and hard work.

Excellent hotel. Private parking in the hotel's courtyard. The rooms are very nice. We had breakfast and it was absolutely fantastic. We highly recommend this hotel.

17/05/2026: This modest sized restaurant feels very spacious inside due to the unusual white pine panelling. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the ambience is relaxed. I started with the duo of foie gras de canard which was excellent! Two pieces were chilled slices and two pieces were grilled “crème brulée” with a layer of sugar on top. Most creative as the cooked foie gras becomes the ‘cream’ - brilliant! My main course was veal kidneys (always a treat in France as you never see them on the menu in England) in garlic and parsley butter. Also very good, though slightly spoiled by the fact that the garde manger forgot to wash the lettuce (lots of gravel crunching - not good). The bread here is fantastic! Everything I visit France for. Dessert was a novel take on tiramisu involving crème chantilly, apples and pineau des Charentes in place of coffee and Marsala. Not really a success, but a noble failure.

06/05/2026: Pleasant music at a reasonable volume, a friendly and smiling waitress, and delicious food. Everything you need for a great time at a very reasonable price.
