Outstanding! I had heard a lot about this restaurant in Saumur and good things. And clearly I was not disappointed, they did not usurp their reputation. From the starters to the succulent pieces of Black Angus meat, everything is perfect. In addition, the service is impeccable and friendly. I'm already looking forward to the next visit!

We chose burger and rib eye. The burger was nice. Rib eye was fully cooked as desired, but was all alone on the plate, no salad, no sauce. If it should have been ordered separately, we should have been made aware of it. Beer with the food didn't come until after we were told it was missing. Desert baba rum ig cheese was ok. But the general impression was of a rather indifferent staff.

The best meat restaurant in Saumur. The quality and tenderness of the meats is exceptional. For dessert, the lick ulcer waffle is to die for… Welcome and exemplary service and what can we say about the wine list for all budgets.

Nous sommes venus diner avec ma femme et mon fils. Un accueil très agréable et un cadre top. La carte est claire, simple et les plats sont tous délicieux. Un bon restaurant de viande comme il ne se fait plus. Des plats de qualité qui justifie un prix plus élevé que certains autres restaurants du secteur. Je recommande.

Siamo stati a cena in questo locale. La zona fuori è molto carina e gradevole. La carne era buona, mentre le patate e i dolci migliorabili. Personale gentilissimo. Buonissimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliato.

07/12/2024: Magnificent half-timbered facade, very pleasant place, very pretty decor, we are delighted to have eaten there and we will come back. The meal was delicious from starter to dessert and the presentation of the dishes was sublime. Thank you for the welcome, first time that we have been so well received in a restaurant as soon as we opened the door. The jokes and good humor of the staff made us have a great time. We recommend it to everyone 😁

Aux Brèves de Comptoir

29/05/2025: Amazing food and ambiance. The cook was very welcoming and cooked for us an amazing lamb and a salad with the duck. We stayed in Saumur one day and after such a sunny and warm day the terrace on the first floor was very fresh and cozy.
20/04/2025: A new top notch restaurant! Super nice people, a more than excellent meal! We recommend ++++
