I love this restaurant 💛💛💛 The food is delicious. The two owners are lovely. Go without hesitation. But not in large groups, though ;)

If you're looking to experience authentic Japanese flavors (dishes, beers, appetizers, sake, etc.) in a relaxed setting far removed from the ostentatious displays of typical Japanese restaurants, then come to La Cantine Japonaise. As for the food, the pork gyoza are delicious, the tori no karaage (tender salad) is excellent, and the katsu-don and ebiten curry udon are also great. I didn't get a chance to try the matcha and dark chocolate cookies, but the mochi ice cream and the green tea/yuzu ice cream are perfect for dessert. A wonderful and unique spot in Lyon!

I was looking for a restaurant for dinner, as I was alone. While wandering around, I stumbled upon this unassuming place. Given the good reviews, I decided to try it and I absolutely don't regret it. I ordered ramen and a daifuku, both really delicious! The portion size, served in a beautiful bowl, was just right. The decor is quite minimalist, but the restaurant is small, so it's perfectly adequate. Thank you for a lovely meal; I'm so glad I came.

The ramen and donbori were good, and the portions were generous. The dishes were beautifully presented. Although you can tell they've adapted to French tastes. The option to book online is really convenient, and the dining room was cool. My only complaint is the price of the takoyaki (€7-8 for 3) and the mochi ice cream (€7.50 for 2), even though they were very good. The main dishes themselves have a good quality-to-price ratio! KUMA is a great place to eat Japanese food in the 3rd arrondissement; you'll feel right at home! Thank you for the warm welcome!

Best Japanese restaurant I've ever been to! The donburi are excellent. The homemade lochia are delicious. The service is impeccable. Nothing to complain about!
