L Ecluse sur Grosbliederstroff

I'm from Strasbourg, and to visit my friends in Metz, we found this restaurant halfway between us. We've been five times now, and each time we enjoy delicious, fresh, and generous portions. The staff is always friendly, and the service is impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, and I've already told some friends from Strasbourg who also loved it 😊

Everything was perfect. The food was fantastic, prepared with love. The sauce for the duck was excellent. It was also beautifully presented – presentation matters. We opted for the set menu. There was a wide selection of many delicious, typical French dishes. The tables and chairs in the second room were just like you'd find in a simple, good French country restaurant. The front area, furnished like an American bistro, was a bit jarring. We will definitely go there again.

It was our first time at L’Ecluse. The food was fantastic! We tried several dishes from the menu and they were all delicious and modern. Excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.

We ate there yesterday. The owner wasn't very friendly; she just served us. 🤔 A smile isn't part of the menu, and... the daily special was very, very small and really lukewarm, even cold. Quite disappointed. However, the young waitress was very kind; thank you to her.

We hadn't been there in years. The place used to have a not-so-great reputation. The chef has changed recently, and the quality is outstanding. The service was very friendly, and the food was simply excellent. Update: I've been there a few times since, and I have to say I'd give it ten stars. Everything was just top-notch. Keep it up!
