I thoroughly enjoyed my meal; the dish was delicious, the sauce original. The welcome was very warm. The decor was also well chosen. A highly recommended establishment.

There was a bit of a wait, but we were informed when we made our reservation that there was a group of 20 people. The waitress was very friendly and welcoming. A minor drawback was that it was cold in the restaurant; it was a shame to have homemade fries but not vegetables. The menu was simple, but the food was good.

I've been here twice. Once we had the lunch menu. The second time I was there on Valentine's Day. The food is spectacular. The service is very friendly, and they always make an effort to speak German. The restaurant itself is also clean and beautiful.

I came with friends and we were very well received. The service was perfect, the waitress very kind. The meal was absolutely perfect, everything was perfect, nothing to complain about. We loved it. I highly recommend it.

28/08/2026: This is one of those restaurants where I hesitate before reviewing it. I'd really like to keep it a secret for myself and our friends. On the other hand, the food is so delicious, and we don't eat out often enough to not spread the word. The restaurant is a bit out of the way, but right on the water and by the lock. The style is typical of the region, and there's no dress code. It's wheelchair accessible, and there's parking right in front. Water for dogs is provided, as is the excellent wine selection. The service is incredibly friendly, and the language barrier is minimal. We each ordered a set menu and enjoyed it immensely. Heike fell in love with the beef carpaccio, and the chef and owner perfectly captured my taste. The prices are more than reasonable for the quality. The big question for our next visit: Do we order the delicious dishes again, or do we try other delicacies? We absolutely love it there; the 35 km drive is no problem at all.

25/07/2026: One of the last family-run restaurants near the border. A place to feel good in every respect. Cheerful service, first-class ingredients, excellent wines, and cooking done in the best sense of the word, just like in the old days, but for today.
