A magnificent setting. Very professional and friendly staff. The menu: an explosion of flavors. The dishes are extraordinary and refined, the combination of ingredients is sublime...you get a taste of every flavor without any one overpowering the others. It was excellent from the amuse-bouche to dessert...pure bliss!

A must-try if you're visiting the city and looking for a gastronomic experience at a very reasonable price. We had lunch in this exceptional historic setting for €55 per person, all-inclusive: amuse-bouche, starter, main course, dessert, wine, and coffee. The chef is inventive, the dishes are beautifully presented, the seasonal produce bursts with flavor, and the service is attentive. We'll be back!

We discovered this beautiful restaurant inside the walled city of Carcassonne, situated in a magnificent setting with typical decor. We appreciated the all-inclusive menu, which is rare! The food is excellent, and we would like to thank all the staff for their professionalism, kindness, and warm welcome. We highly recommend this authentic restaurant, which is not a tourist trap!

The dining room was exceptionally elegant, as were the service and the table setting. We had a wonderful time enjoying excellent food and perfect wine pairings. A truly excellent restaurant!

This was my second time dining at La Barbacane restaurant, and just like the first time, we had a wonderful evening. This time we were seated inside because of the wind (the restaurant is better known for its beautiful view of Carcassonne from the top of the citadel), but that didn't detract from the quality of the experience at all. The restaurant's interior has a lot of character, with beautiful antique pieces that give the place a warm and inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent, and the staff was very pleasant. As for the menu, it hasn't changed much since our last visit, so there was less of an element of surprise, but the dishes remained just as good, both in terms of presentation and the balance of flavors. I'm always impressed by how much I enjoy a plate of vegetables! The restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner or a meal with friends.

Three visits, three successes. La Barbacane is a sure bet. Each time, the quality is consistent: refined and expertly prepared cuisine, attentive service, exceptional value for money, and a stunning setting in the heart of the city. An address I wholeheartedly recommend! I will return for a fourth time without hesitation.
