I discovered this restaurant, voted best brasserie bistro of 2026, so I went there out of curiosity. Located in Gaillac, not far from Toulouse, I had a wonderful time. I ordered an entrecôte, a very nice cut of meat, and everything was truly delicious. There's also a great selection of beers and wines, which is a real plus. The video projector and two televisions were showing the World Cup matches, creating a fantastic atmosphere. The beautiful setting, with its view of the square, really adds to the charm of the place. A very enjoyable experience at a highly recommended spot.

A very good experience at La Bodega in Gaillac. The daily special was excellent, well-prepared, and delicious. The atmosphere of this brasserie/tapas bar is pleasant, with a nice terrace and efficient service. Good value for money and reservations are possible. A place to remember for a meal with friends or an evening out.

Excellent brasserie-style restaurant. We stumbled upon it by chance, as we were returning from a wedding and our holiday in Collioure. What a pleasant surprise this lovely restaurant was! The portions were incredibly generous. Everything was homemade. The prices were more than competitive. And the owners were so friendly. They knew how to make us feel comfortable and were very approachable. Honestly, go there without hesitation, you won't regret it. Thank you so much for your kindness. I will definitely come back if I'm ever in the area. We ordered two plates: salad with gizzards and ice cream sundaes.

Simple, fresh, flavorful, and generous portions! Just what we cyclists needed. The service was quick. Beautiful view from the outdoor terrace, as the restaurant is located on the lovely market square!

I thought these people were really nice and they respected everyone.The bar bar man, it was very sweet.The food was excellent.A friend showed me this place.IM so happy to go there.I suggest you go to it

Brasserie le Continental

16/08/2026: A waiter with curly hair and an earring was very unpleasant and spoke rudely to the customers; a waitress even announced that they stopped serving coffee at 6 PM. I'm not quite sure what to think of this place.
12/08/2026: A pleasant, air-conditioned restaurant in a great location in the city center. The staff is really very friendly. The dining room is spacious for those who prefer to eat on the terrace. The portions are generous, and the fries have a little something extra 😉. As for the 4 stars instead of 5…it's because of the dessert. I'm well aware that mistakes happen, that an oversight can occur. But from the menu, I chose the seasonal fruit soup with almond tuile sorbet and whipped cream. I was served a strawberry soup that unfortunately wasn't fresh enough, with a scoop of sorbet. It was good, but there was no sign of whipped cream or almond tuile. When I asked, they brought me a small bowl with slivered almonds. I expressed my surprise, and the waitress replied, "That's what we serve here…" End of discussion. One piece of advice regarding this very good dessert: correct the menu. In its "bar" function, it's also very good, with a nice atmosphere and pleasant background music.

Restaurant La Verrerie

15/04/2026: I rarely use Google to leave reviews, but La Verrerie restaurant never disappoints me, whether for personal or business meals. It's always excellent value for money, in a superb setting right in the city center. I always go there with complete confidence because their vegetarian dishes are fantastic, thank you!
09/04/2026: We had a lovely stay here while searching for our wedding venue. The setting is truly beautiful – the views over the verrerie are stunning, and the grounds are peaceful and spacious. The outdoor areas are a real highlight, with a large pool, gazebo, and unique bamboo trees that add a special charm to the property. We also had dinner on-site, which was excellent. The chef adapts the menu seasonally, and the food felt fresh and thoughtfully prepared. The dining space is lovely, especially the outdoor terrace. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with a generous buffet and a great mix of options, including hot items like freshly cooked eggs. There are 14 bedrooms on site, which are simple but comfortable and perfectly adequate for a short stay. That said, the rooms would really benefit from some updating and attention to detail. For example, many rooms have a shower separated only by a curtain rather than a proper door, and ours could have used a bit of paint touch-up and a deeper clean. Overall, it’s a beautiful venue with a lot of potential. With some refurbishment and modernisation of the rooms, it would be truly exceptional.
