A real gem in Brantôme! The terrace overlooking the Dronne is magnificent, and Monique and Pierre's welcome is warm and genuine. The Périgord platter was delicious, and the truffle ravioli was a pure delight. A charming place that I highly recommend; I'll gladly return!

Ignore the reviews - people who expect the world and get a local and tasty meal. Waiters & waitress’ were lovely, and the food is nice. It won’t change your life but it will sort you out. We ate, played cards and had a few beers. Don’t really know what more you could want

Ignore the reviews. Food is nice, staff is lovely. Yeah if you come in summer of course it’s busy, they weren’t rude they’re just busy. They did their best, have some humility.

I'm very surprised by the reviews... We had lunch here on our way to our holiday destination and we ate very well! The setting is charming, the food is simple yet well-prepared, and the staff are friendly and welcoming!
A truly lovely way to end our holiday.

We stopped at this restaurant for lunch.
The lady behind the counter was very nice, as was the waiter who served us. Unfortunately, we found the dishes we chose expensive for the small portions.
We ordered appetizers. They were appetizers, we agree, but €18 for just salad, gizzards, and a cabécou cheese... No onions, nothing! I found it very meager.
The setting is pleasant with the terrace by the water and the little ducks. It's peaceful.

Stopped for a coffee, waitress and owner unpleasant. If you don't want to/can't communicate with the customer, you shouldn't work in a restaurant.
