A little expensive all the same. Some time ago, the quality was there too, the prices acceptable. But I would not return there again, and would no longer recommend this emblematic image of Chamonix. But as long as the theaters are full, prices will only plummet. Enjoy your food.

Super recommend!!! We loved the food, the service and the history behind this authentic and old place. The price seemed normal to me, it was like 28 euros per person and we ate incredible! It's worth it!

We had a very good time at La Calèche, the dishes served are of high quality and very good but the quantity is really limited depending on the dishes (Paleron with a mini "quenelle" of polenta). On the positive side, the wine list is well-stocked, the waiters are friendly, and the setting and decoration are truly authentic Savoyard!

8 hungry "boys" after a long day skiing enjoying onion soup and fondue. We got a round table, which is always nice. Nice atmosphere.

The best fondue in Chamonix, in the cosiest, most charming restaurant. Make sure you book ahead of time. The portions are huge so be careful not to over order. Escargot with bread is a must to start, and we tasted an excellent Chablis.

29/03/2024: I'm traveling through the French Alps for 3 months. I was in Lês Contamines, Megève, Argentiele and Chamonix. I love eating cheese, salami, ham, terrines… I went into all the stores I found in the cities I visited and this one has the best service and focus on what the customer is looking for. I really recommend it.
01/03/2024: Highly recommended to take home something rich as a souvenir from Chamonix. You can try the sausages and they have a great selection of products: cheeses, sausages, drinks... The delicious bread too!!

05/04/2024: A very good stay at the hotel, pleasant staff, good quality restaurant. The spa was a bit small but it was quiet so we were able to take full advantage of it.
