One weekday evening, we took advantage of having some free time to dine at La Cambuse. There were four of us, and we were all very happy. My Maroilles burger was delicious, as were the fries. I recommend this place. The service was pleasant and quick.

It felt a bit strange walking in and seeing closed shutters. But when they opened... cozy atmosphere and delicious food! Highly recommended; we speak poor French but that is no problem.

With its friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere, it's the ideal spot for both a peaceful lunch break and a delightful evening getaway.
10/10/2026: What a lovely surprise to find the original restaurant back in the market square, instead of near the Marine Center where it had been for a year. The staff are delightful and very attentive, the menu is small but effective and everything is homemade, which is what matters! I gave it 4 stars for the food because the potatoes were a little burnt, which was a shame, and the salad wasn't rinsed properly, so it was a bit crunchy with leftover dirt or sand. The steak tartare, however, was truly excellent and well-prepared! Next time I'll try the cooked meat. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

24/09/2026: A warm and inviting spot brimming with select, high-quality products. Flavorful dishes, generous portions, and seasonal ingredients. A small place with one of the best views in Dunkirk and one of its best-kept secrets. With that special touch that instantly makes you feel like a friend, it's the perfect place for after-work drinks.
04/09/2026: Delicious beef tartare. I've never seen so many varieties on a menu. The service is really friendly, the atmosphere is a bit noisy... it's hard to imagine better in this picturesque location. I recommend making a reservation. This restaurant is very popular, and understandably so.
