A must-try if you're in Dunkirk. An unusual restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are welcoming and the food is excellent. I highly recommend the Flemish carbonnade – a real treat! Afterwards, enjoy a gourmet coffee and take a stroll along the quays to help with digestion. Don't forget to book ahead, as it's often full, especially on Saturdays.

I loved the vintage, unpretentious feel of this canteen-style restaurant. The atmosphere is very friendly, with a warm and welcoming staff. While staying in Dunkirk, I especially want to thank the woman who went above and beyond to find us a table for two even though the restaurant was full: a rare and much appreciated gesture! The Flemish carbonnade (one of their specialties) was excellent, and you can really taste the quality of the local ingredients. I've tried many restaurants, and this one is definitely worth a visit. I highly recommend it!

16/08/2026: Two women from the Ardennes region, visiting Dunkirk for the weekend, were looking for THE perfect restaurant for dinner. What a surprise! The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was homemade with love, and it was delicious! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant! 💛 (Special mention for the EXCELLENT ravioli!)
14/08/2026: Excellent place! We loved the homemade dishes made with fresh ingredients! The coffee is absolutely delicious! We especially loved the French toast-style brioche! A real treat!
