Exceptional, we loved it! The cheese and charcuterie board was delicious, and the owner, Florian, was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He explained each cheese and the different types of cured meats to us. The wines were very good. All the products are local and of excellent quality. The shop has a very extensive wine selection. The shaded terrace was a welcome relief on a sunny day. It's a must-visit in Chinon. Plus, Florian speaks both Spanish and English, which made communication much easier. 😊

A very pleasant time spent on this sunny Monday afternoon 🌞. A wonderful discovery and a fantastic welcome. Despite a large crowd before our visit and a nearly empty fridge, we were served and looked after exceptionally well. The charcuterie, cheeses, and wines are of high quality, and the owner is kind and attentive. Thank you very much.

A truly beautiful place, both for tasting and discovering wines (accompanied by platters of terrines and local products) and for exploring a fine wine cellar. A very welcoming and friendly wine merchant who knows his products extremely well. A must-try and highly recommended.

What a treasure hiding in the back streets . We sat at a table with an amazing view of the old fortress and enjoyed superb local wines and excellent meats and handcrafted cheeses accompanied by a generous bread basket . Florian the owner is so friendly and knowledgeable about the local produce and also passionate about Chinon . Do not miss this experience Just wonderful . Thank you Florian

One of my favourite places in Chinon. Great wine served with a smile by the knowledgeable owner. Perfect setting in the nicest street in this lovely town and with a great view of the Chateau. Cheese and charcuterie platters are the perfect accompaniment. A very special place.

14/09/2026: Absolutely fantastic! The owner is charming and welcomed us even though she was overwhelmed with customers on the full terrace. She seated us in a beautiful room. We were served by very pleasant staff, and the meal was a delight. We had salmon ceviche as a starter, followed by duck with morello cherry sauce – I'm still thinking about it! – and for dessert, the chocolate mousse was the best I've ever had. Perfect value for money. How lucky Chinon is to have this restaurant! Thank you again for welcoming us, Madam, to your magnificent restaurant, which you have decorated with such exquisite taste.
14/09/2026: We had a very pleasant evening in a very refined setting. We hadn't made a reservation, but thanks to our kind insistence, the owner graciously found us an available table. We were pleasantly surprised by the exquisitely flavorful dishes served by a very professional and attentive staff. A succession of original and delicious amuse-bouches allowed us to appreciate a lovely bottle of organic Chinon recommended by the owner. A delicious salmon ceviche (GMO-free, antibiotic-free, etc.) with coconut milk and citrus. A duck breast served with a red wine reduction with morello cherries. And then a remarkable dessert featuring Roussillon apricots on a shortbread base... All this for incredible value, not to mention the charming smile of the hostess... We will gladly return. See you soon.

04/10/2026: What a pleasure to be so warmly welcomed in a restaurant! Starting with the chef, then each attentive waiter and waitress. An aperitif accompanied by toast and hummus—that's becoming rare. Then delicious starters followed by squash and cheese lasagna. Everything was perfect. And the terrace is so lovely. We'll be back.
