A wonderful discovery! The staff are very friendly, and dogs are welcome. The food is excellent, with great flavors and presentation. Gluten-free options are available except for the bread, which wasn't a problem for me.

We chose this restaurant based on its quieter location and the good reviews we'd read, and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The food was very good, beautifully presented, and everything was there! Excellent value for money, a wonderful discovery! My husband and I chose the two menus available, "Menu bourguignon" and "Menu la ciboulette," both excellent!

Our first night in Beaune and we picked this restaurant as it was close to our accomodations. We were no disappointed. 2 different menus with 3 or 4 course offerings were available. I picked the one that featured escargot and recommended wine pairing for the main course. Our waiter was friendly and very helpful.

The food was well prepared and tasted great. Hot plates, and general improvement in service (customers come before answering the phone!), together with some background music, would make the experience even better.

I am afraid that I don't have similar experience than other reviews. The service we had was unfortunately not as good as I read from here. I rarely, if it was not the first, had the same wine glass for white and red. The meals were tasty especially the dessert. The worst surprise was that I found out after leaving Beaune that I paid 132.4€ rather than 123.4€ written on the bill. It was probably unintentional but yeah rather disappointed.

Superb restaurant! The new owners, although relatively young, have managed to take over the restaurant, bringing a touch of freshness while preserving its identity, delighting both long-time regulars and those discovering it for the first time! I highly recommend it!

03/06/2026: The restaurant is truly beautiful, elegant, and meticulously crafted. We were also pleased with the food: well-executed, high-quality dishes. Unfortunately, the service didn't live up to the setting. The glasses of wine we ordered at the beginning arrived only after the appetizer, making us miss out on the pleasure of pairing it with our chosen wine. Furthermore, there was some confusion with one of the main courses: we were informed that the salmon trout wasn't available and would be replaced with sea bass with vegetables, but in the end, a salmon trout arrived anyway. Unexpected events can happen, but we would have appreciated clearer and more transparent communication from the staff. Finally, when we ordered an additional glass of wine, it arrived already poured. I personally believe that, especially in a restaurant of this caliber, it's good practice to show the bottle at the table before service, so that the customer can check the label on the wine ordered. Overall, a good experience in terms of ambiance and cuisine, but some aspects of the service could be improved.
30/05/2026: Absolutely top-notch... we truly enjoyed ourselves... a superb culinary experience... Everything was perfect... the parsley sauce was a delight for the taste buds... the snails too... the morel mushroom tarts were excellent... the beef bourguignon was superbly slow-cooked... The service was impeccable, everyone very professional... and the setting was very pleasant... thank you for this wonderful experience...
