For us, it was farm-raised pork belly, Beaune ribs, and lemon meringue pie. We thoroughly enjoyed it. We'll be back.

Is boring local without “local charm”. The food is basic Burgundy dishes of reasonable quality. The meat is dry and boring in Boeuf Bourguignon which is the “claim to fame”.

A genuinely wonderful restaurant, everything I ate or drank was spectacular. Sweet breads, escargot, cheese plate, wines. All excellent.

Fantastic! This restaurant is a bit like the DARCHITECTURA team's "gastronomic canteen" in Beaune… and for the past 5 years, after more than 100 meals, not a single disappointment! The chef offers cuisine that is precise, creative, and always bursting with flavor. Every dish is a delight, and our taste buds are left wanting more. Add to that a consistently warm welcome, with a smile, and a simply exceptional wine list… and you have the perfect combination! **Without hesitation, this is one of my three favorite restaurants in Beaune. Simply unmissable.**

The restaurant is beautifully decorated and very pleasant. The cuisine is refined. The beef bourguignon is simply delicious! However, the cheese course is quite small and clearly lacks salad. The service is attentive and refined.

July 16, 2027 I recommend this restaurant in the center of Beaune. Traditional dishes, but prepared with lightness and flavor. A relaxed atmosphere, modern decor in a space where the stone walls are beautifully preserved. A menu at a very reasonable price. A very good experience. Claire G

Fantastic wine list at very reasonable prices (for the quality). We had a wonderful Morey Saint Denis. The food was refined, elegantly plated and delicious. The staff are friendly and professional. I highly recommend this small but tasty bistrot.

Le Bistro des Cocottes

01/08/2026: After reading several reviews, we managed to book a table at the last minute this afternoon at this bistro. The lady was kind enough to find us a small table on the terrace. We had booked for 7:00 pm. The waiter, who was incredibly kind, even let us choose our table. He was the perfect example of someone passionate about their work. What followed was a delightful and convivial evening, with excellent food and very good drinks. We will definitely be back!
28/07/2026: Not to be missed if you are in Beaune! Super friendly service and fantastically delicious food! My congratulations to the chef!

11/08/2026: The wine selection is truly excellent, as is the food, mostly cold dishes to share, with a few Asian influences. I particularly enjoyed the tiramisu; as I pointed out to the chef, it was delicious, significantly better than many tiramisus you can find in Italy. Very nice place. Average prices.
03/08/2026: Lovely wine bar with a very nice wine list and very good sharing plates, I recommend it!
