The lunch menu was very good value for money, however, the "gourmet" menu (starter/main/dessert) with a €5 supplement for three very small slices of foie gras is a bit excessive. We left still feeling a little hungry...

Don't come to Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie without eating at La Cotriade. Excellent menus, excellent service, fresh ingredients, great selection, and attractive prices. I highly recommend it! I'll be back very soon...

14/06/2026: Table for two, no reservation, no wait. I ordered a fisherman's salad and the person across from me ordered a ham crepe. The salad was crunchy, probably because the salads hadn't been washed properly. The menu said salmon, but it was trout.

16/08/2026: A lovely establishment with refined cuisine! The dining room is quiet, with a beautiful view of the river and the Croix-de-Vie riverbank; it's a pleasure to dine in this setting. The menu is quite varied. The digital version is rather nice as it allows you to easily view the dishes, which can help you make your choice. The dishes are flavorful and the portions are quite generous. It's fresh and delicious French cuisine. This establishment was a wonderful discovery; we'll be back!
