We had a fantastic evening at this atmospheric and friendly small restaurant. Touring the area we had noticed that a lot of restaurants just have the same generic menu La Cuisine du 19 certainly isn’t and is a step above. The owner and his wife made it a memorable meal. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about wines and we must of tried at least 8 wines over the evening ( luckily not driving anywhere!) each one was paired to the dishes we chose. The food was simple but great. Highly recommend.

Wow, what a discovery. When we arrived, it turned out we had booked the wrong date. No problem; in exchange for a dance, we were allowed to join in for the truffle experience after all. The man of the house served us the best wines from his native region of Uzès. Fresh truffles were generously scraped over our plates. The lady of the house was in the open kitchen, completely letting loose. What a taste sensation. To say thank you, we introduced them to our Belgian Arno Hintjes (TC matic) and danced to O La La La. After visiting the citadel, we went here for lunch on our last day of vacation, a Saturday. It was pure relaxation and enjoyment: the ambiance, the friendliness of the owners, and of course, the food! You could taste the quality of the regional products and the love that went into cooking. The owner selected delicious wines from his own vineyard to accompany each course and told us about them in a very entertaining way. The chef, Madame, cooked calmly and serenely, always with a friendly smile. We were completely satisfied, thank you so much!

Classical French cooking. We had the asparagus menu with local turkey which was unique. Chocolate desert is amazing. Owner speaks perfectly English
