A very warm welcome, a great atmosphere with helpful explanations about the restaurant's history and the wines. The dishes were excellent with a touch of novelty. 10/10 The staff were friendly and attentive. Enjoy!

Excellent! Create your own menu, and the chef will pair each course with the perfect wine, without breaking the bank! The cuisine is refined, prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. We had a wonderful time at this restaurant.

Looking for a change of pace for lunch, we discovered and highly recommend this place in Givet. It's small, making it very friendly, and the homemade food is outstanding! All of this is orchestrated by a close and welcoming duo. We had a very pleasant time. A must-try!

On our way to explore Namur, we made a quick stop in Givet for lunch. After researching where to eat and reading reviews, we settled on La Cuisine du 19… and honestly, the reviews were spot on! 😍 The food is delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. Everything was truly excellent! The restaurant is decorated in a very homey style, giving you the feeling of eating at your grandma's house. 🥰 But what particularly surprised us were the wine pairings suggested by the owner. He'll introduce you to wines, each one better than the last. 🍷 It's a bit like going to eat at a friend's house who's letting you taste the bottles from their cellar. 😂 It's an experience we'd never had in a restaurant before, and it's really very pleasant and welcoming. So, if you're ever in the area, we highly recommend La Cuisine du 19. You won't regret it! ☺️

A lovely restaurant where we had a pleasant family meal thanks to Eric, with whom we had a great chat. He has a wonderful sense of humor and extensive knowledge in many areas; he clearly loves what he does, which we appreciated. And let's not forget the food, which was excellent, perfectly spiced, and original. We ate very well and particularly enjoyed the melon gazpacho, the quenelles, the veal casserole, and the dessert. Keep up the good work! (Sorry for the delay in writing this review!)

In the afternoon, we walked past La Cuisine du 19 in Givet. The small restaurant immediately caught our eye with its cozy, authentic atmosphere and red-and-white checkered tablecloths. After lunch, the owner was busy getting everything ready for the evening, and a short but pleasant conversation was enough to make a reservation right away. In the evening, we chose the menu with wine pairing. We had an exquisite meal. The owner cooks fantastically and also speaks Dutch, which made everything even more enjoyable. We had a wonderful evening. If we return to Givet, we will definitely eat here again.
