Great restaurant with outdoor seating right beside the castle. We loved finding pasta on the menu and it was great. We had the lasagne and linguini and have already eaten here twice. We had a lovely waitress with great personality.

A delightful moment opposite Amboise Castle, with a menu I thoroughly enjoyed. The turkey drumsticks were absolutely delicious! Go there.

Fast and friendly service. Both English and French were fluent and possible. The food was super tasty. Good price, especially for how good it is.

A warm welcome A set menu for €19.50 (starter/main course) Delicious food (the generous four-seasons pizza was a real treat) All this at the foot of the castle What more could you ask for? Highly recommended

We discovered this restaurant while walking down a small street, so we were lucky enough to eat in peace and quiet, away from the tourist crowds. The little back courtyard is very pleasant, and we had a very good meal. Thank you.

La Scala

26/09/2026: Highly recommended, the pizza is excellent. Vegan option available. THANK YOU!
20/09/2026: They don’t allow you to share a pizza, as they consider each pizza to be for one person only. So we ended up having to order two pizzas, one for each of us, and took half of each home. The pizzas looked great and were very appealing when they arrived, but unfortunately the flavor didn’t live up to the appearance. The service was good, and the chocolate dessert was really good — definitely the highlight of the meal. Overall, considering the no-sharing policy and the pizzas themselves, it was a somewhat disappointing experience.

Via Roma

20/09/2026: Exceptional authentic Italian food, highly recommend the carbonara pasta.
20/09/2026: Very good pizza 🍕 👌🏼 Service can be a bit chaotic when the place is busy, but it's not a big deal, they're very friendly. The carpaccio is also good.
