Via Roma sur Amboise

We went there twice, the pizza was fantastic, and the service was very friendly. The pizzas were large and really delicious, and they even brought water for our dog. Unfortunately, it's not really suitable for lingering because it gets very busy during peak season. As soon as you've finished eating and don't want dessert, you get the bill (which we understand). But it's definitely recommended for delicious pizza. Update a year later: Unfortunately, half of our group only received their appetizers, while the others received their main courses. The main course for the two who were there was forgotten. Only after contacting them was it sent back to the kitchen, even though the mistake had been noticed a quarter of an hour earlier. We canceled their order, and unfortunately, two out of five of us left the table hungry.

Very nice pizza, also surprised about the bruschetta. As an Italian living abroad is not easy to find a place that makes good Italian food. My daughter is quite picky with the food so we have to be careful about it. The guys at Via Roma nailed it just fine ☺️ Service also perfect, fast and professional, yet giving space for some friendliness ☺️ Well done guys

Very tasty pizza. This was the first time I had this concept on my plate. Each half had a different topping; both the burrata and the goat cheese were delicious. My table companions found their plates very tasty.

A nice place 50 meters from the castle entrance. The staff is helpful but a little distracted (even if it's for trivial things). Food (I'm Italian and have high standards): Excellent pizzas with a good dough and top-quality ingredients; it rivals many of the less contemporary pizzas you find around, even in renowned Italian restaurants. The pasta is so-so: the pesto and burrata one is good, with a creamy and generous pesto sauce. The tomato and burrata one was a no-no because the ingredients were high-quality, but the tomato sauce was bland; they should add salt and pepper and let it reduce over a low heat, add basil halfway through cooking, and then stir the pasta into the sauce. In any case, given the quality of the ingredients, I definitely recommend it, and the prices are very fair!

A simple but perfect starter, a burrata! Then, a delicious Carbonara, just the way I like it, and to finish, an excellent tiramisu! The icing on the cake was the impeccable welcome, service, and location! We had a wonderful time! I highly recommend it!

Excellent pizzas. Pleasant service. There could at least be a fan inside. (And, to further improve the experience, replace the toilet seat.)

Passing through Amboise, we stopped at the restaurant. The food was excellent, and the entire team gave us a very warm welcome. It was so good that we came back several times 😁 The pasta with vodka is delicious.

The manager at the outside table was great. The pizza was very good, and everything else was too. I recommend it.
