Homemade fries, a generous salad, good food, in a calm and pleasant setting. A great place to eat in Carcassonne. Thank you for the food! Even the children's menu is homemade. That's become rare.

We ate as a group of four (two adults, two children). The service was quick and the staff very attentive and friendly. The food was very good and the prices very reasonable. The cassoulet was excellent.

A wonderful surprise. We were expecting a mass-market restaurant catering to the tourist crowds in Carcassonne, but instead we found a restaurant with attention to detail, excellent food, and wonderful service. And all this at a reasonable price. A gem in Carcassonne.

A quick stop at La Girouette restaurant. A charming and typical little spot to discover. I highly recommend it. Excellent food. Whether with family, friends, or as a couple, let yourself be tempted by the view of the Carcassonne city walls and this charming little square.

I highly recommend this restaurant. The foie gras is excellent (I make it myself, so I can vouch for it)! Unfortunately, they're suffering from old reviews that are doing them a disservice... The beef skewer: very tender meat and impeccable homemade Roquefort sauce! Well done!

11/08/2026: A warm welcome, the place is unique, old-fashioned just the way we like it, and it's fantastic!
10/08/2026: If you've never tried cassoulet, this is the place to do so. It's a true brasserie, serving traditional but excellent dishes. The pork knuckle is incredibly tender. The staff is very friendly and the service is quick. The location is ideal, right next to a parking lot.
