Fantastic restaurant on Friday! Small inside, simple, but absolutely delicious!!! The appetizers, especially the pan-fried mushrooms, were excellent!!! The snails and the duck breast salad were also great. For the main courses, the chicken, the duck leg, and the fish were all delicious! And a wonderful dessert to finish. The children ate everything too. Thank you for your warm welcome! And for your bravery with all the people on the terrace despite the rain and wind 😅🌞

Small restaurant with several menus, we chose the €25 menu and we really enjoyed it. There were four of us without a reservation and the service was excellent. I highly recommend it.

A wonderful find in a quiet street. We weren’t expecting such a high standard of food but the standard was so good we had to go back. The Chicken was one of the best I have had. So tasty. Bright green sauce which was amazing. The desserts and starters were equally good. We had a quick chat with the chef and both him and the staff were very attentive.

Small, typically French restaurant with outdoor seating, serving regional dishes. The food is excellent, the staff are smiling and friendly. The menu is only available in French, English, and Spanish. Four of us ordered four dishes with sides, and drank water from a carafe. Spent 93 euros.

What a great restaurant right below the medieval Cite in Carcassonne! While most other places are dark and shuttered in January, Le Trivalou is warm, bright, and welcoming. My hubby and I both had the chicken, which was delicious. One of our tablemates loved the cassoulet. A very worthwhile place to stop if you're in the area.

Excellent food. The foie gras and dried duck breast were superb, and the cassoulet was amazing. From appetizer to dessert, everything is homemade. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend it.

We arrived at the restaurant on December 24th, around 7 PM, without a reservation! We were attentively attended to and very well served! What a delicious Christmas dinner we had! Congratulations to the chef and our thanks to the lovely hostess who welcomed us.

02/06/2026: From the appetizer to the dessert, your taste buds will be deliciously captivated. The welcome and service are very good in a rather pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend it for gourmets.
25/05/2026: I guessed it's seen better days. Food was good but nothing special. We were not asked the point of the meat and was too done for our taste. One of the waiters is excellent, the other one is bad even with a bit of bad manners. We went to other places in the old city that were much better for the food and much more charming. Wouldn't recommend

17/05/2026: This restaurant was a huge disappointment. We were looking for a place that wasn't a tourist trap, and we missed the mark. The food was ordinary and rather bland. The cassoulet was decent, and the desserts were quite good. The welcome was cold. In short, it's not a place where you feel any desire to pamper and delight a customer. Just to feed them. I'm giving it 3 stars because it fulfilled its basic requirements, but we had hoped for better.
10/05/2026: A lovely restaurant I stumbled upon. The staff were very friendly and didn't hesitate to welcome us for a meal even though we arrived after service had ended. They even let us try their traditional cassoulet, which was delicious and plentiful. The prices were very reasonable; I highly recommend this restaurant.
