A lovely surprise on Saturday, March 7th.
We wanted to try something different in Cauterets and... we weren't disappointed at all! 👌
The welcome was warm, almost friendly.
The menu was generous (it is the mountains, after all 😎), the prices were reasonable, and the service was efficient.
A special mention goes to one of the chefs, who came into the dining room to chat, explain his cuisine, and offer advice (thank you for the delicious coffee 🙏🔥).
Honestly, we felt right at home.
Reservations are essential during peak season.
We'll definitely be back.

We ate there several times during our stay. The young waiter was very welcoming, and the chef gave excellent advice and took great care of his customers. I highly recommend the trout and potato dish! 😋😋😋

Very good! The food is excellent (tartiflette and trout tiflette).
(The ventilation in the dining room needs improvement; it smells quite strongly of cheese, but that's to be expected in a cheese-focused restaurant.)
Great service too!! The wine was very good, and I was eyeing the beers as well, but I shouldn't have overdone it. All in all, excellent.

We had a wonderful evening.
The sheep's cheese fondue was delicious and plentiful.
There was unlimited salad and charcuterie.

We wanted to eat mountain dishes, so we ordered a raclette for two and a fondue for two. The food was delicious, the ingredients were flavorful and high-quality. We thoroughly enjoyed it!
The staff was attentive and welcoming, excellent.
(Rock music playing in the background 👍) The only downside was that they didn't accept credit cards, which made it a bit tricky to bring enough cash.
