La Grand’Vigne sur Martillac

We had a wonderful evening…all the dishes were delicious: regional products given a creative twist…the flavors were there, yet light… Pleasant and professional service. 2 stars well deserved.

As of writing this, La Grand'Vigne is a two star Michelin restaurant situated inside the Les Sources de Caudalie hotel/spa. As with most Michelin star restaurants, reservations are highly recommended, though you might get lucky if ever there's last minute cancellations. The service, atmosphere and food were impeccable. They offer a couple of choices in terms of what you'd like course menu and you won't be disappointed with any of the choices. Every dish was unique and presented beautifully. We really enjoyed their concept of keeping it aligned with their theme of greenery, as well as having a very healthy and fresh experience. They also gladly adjusted the menu to my partner's tastes as she tends to avoid eating pork or veal. We are also very pleasantly surprised as they offered us a quick tour of their kitchen as well as a quick meet & greet of their head chef. I've been to dozens of Michelin restaurants so far and this might have been the first time I got such extra service. Whether you're in the area, nearby or want to visit one of the best Michelin restaurants in the world, I highly suggest you book a table at La Grand'Vigne.

Hello. This was our first Michelin-starred restaurant experience. We were very warmly welcomed and felt comfortable in a beautiful setting. The staff were highly professional and attentive, taking care of us without being pushy, and the cuisine was delicious, showcasing authentic flavors. Thank you again for this wonderful experience.

A wonderful discovery during a weekend getaway. We came as a family and everything was perfect. A warm welcome, attentive staff without being intrusive. The dishes were refined and beautifully presented, made with high-quality ingredients. A calm and elegant setting; we felt truly at ease. An address we'll definitely keep in mind!

We had a wonderful culinary experience with the seven courses offered. The food was of a very high standard. The service was also impeccable thanks to the very friendly and attentive team!

The four-course menu was flawless; every dish was exceptional, and the dessert was exquisite. The welcome and service were perfect. The wine list, however, was very expensive, the only negative point of this otherwise excellent evening.
