La Maison Jaune sur Les Ancizes-Comps

We stopped by on a Sunday. What a pleasant surprise! The daily special was delicious. The truffade was excellent. We highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful time at "La Maison Jaune". We were a group of 14 people, and this restaurant was recommended to us by the Vélos rail host. We were won over by the kindness of the waitresses and the quality cuisine. An authentic place, without fuss over the decor... the real treasure is on the plate. Tasty, well-presented, and generous dishes. A top-notch weekend menu... 19.50 euros for starter, main course, and dessert. A snail pastry with a divine sauce, a quail and baby vegetable pie (quail completely deboned by the chef and cooked to perfection... simply excellent), a generous cheese platter, and a choice of dessert! In short... excellent value for money. The truffade, a regional dish, was very good and generous... the ribs and chicken will also satisfy the taste buds!! In short, don't miss this address, a reduced menu but everything is homemade. Thank you!!
