La Marie Jo is a fantastic inn in Châtel with delicious and flavorful food (we ate there on December 31st!), amazing waiters and manager, a cozy Nordic-style atmosphere, and incredibly good homemade génépi liqueur 😋 Honestly, we loved this welcoming place, we highly recommend it!

We were here with a group of 12. The waiter was very attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was great! The price-quality ratio was excellent, especially compared to other places in the village. I recommend this restaurant to everyone!

07/04/2026: A warm welcome, impeccable food quality, and on top of that, it's quiet (no music!).
17/03/2026: Absolutely fantastic, great atmosphere, but they're taking advantage of the situation a bit to charge somewhat excessive prices.

Le Vieux Four

03/04/2026: Traditional French ski resort restaurant. High end with delicious food. The starter of apple and black pudding was Devine. Our waitress was not the friendliest and spoilt it a bit but overall we had a lovely enjoyable meal.
29/03/2026: Years go by and this restaurant becomes increasingly gourmet and refined. The welcome is very warm and every bite is exceptional; I highly recommend it.
